visiting wdw late feb if park hopping & hollywood studios closes at 7pm with fantasmic following at 7 pm would ther be time after to take either the bus or ferry to epcot just to see illuminations will want to be able to get a good spot to watch any ad

    Michelle:

Thanks for coming to visit us here at the Mom's Panel!

Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios runs about 25 minutes or so and Illuminations begins at 9:00 p.m. sharp nightly at nearby Epcot. You should be able to get from DHS to Epcot in that hour and a half window, but believe it or not, it will be close. You will need to factor in that it may take you as long as 30 minutes to exit DHS after the show. From there, the line for the ferry to Epcot and the Epcot resorts may be long and the ride itself can sometimes take upwards of 40 minutes. There will also be bus transportation from DHS to the front of Epcot and the ride is about 15 minutes. Just keep in mind that you will need to make your way through the front of Future World in Epcot to the World Showcase, a good 15- to 20-minute walk from the bus pavilion to the first spots to view Illuminations.

Walking may become your swiftest option from DHS to the back gate at Epcot along the canal via the Boardwalk. It is a good 25- to 30-minute journey and not for everyone but will be well lit and if the weather agrees, could be your best route. You can then make your way to the bridge between France and Great Britain for good viewing or head over towards Italy and its tiered viewing.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
