Visiting WDW the last week in October, since just me and DH, no kids, not really interested in MNSSHP, should we avoid MK altogether on Halloween? Or take advantage of morning EMH and hop to another park later?

Hello, Jeffrey!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

The Magic Kingdom will tend to draw larger crowds on Halloween.  At least, this has been the trend for many years.  Many folks love Mickeys Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and plan well in advance to arrive on the 31st.    If you want to avoid the larger crowds, I would start out the day in the Magic Kingdom while many local folks are still working or in school.  Halloween tends to draw not only vacationing guests, but local guests, too.  "Hopping" on over to another park sounds like a great plan!
