Hi, we're visiting WDW June/July 2016, my son who is 16 has CBT issues, we mentioned about qualifying for DAC card but he has refused due to being embarrassed and doesn't want to draw attention to himself. Could one of us parents apply on his behalf?

Hello Nicola and thank you for bringing such an important question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I can just imagine how excited you and your lovely family must be about your 2016 June/July summer holiday to Walt Disney World Resort, it's sure to be practically perfect in every way!
I really believe The Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card could truly enhance your families experience at Walt Disney World Resort and I hope you will be able to reassure your dear son he has absolutely no need to feel embarrassed because I know from personal experience Cast Members will look after your whole families needs with complete dignity and understanding at all times.
Guests and their families wishing to discuss the Disability Access Service Card should do so in person with Cast Members found within Guest Relations inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I thought you may also find this Services for Guests with Autism & Cognitive Disabilities link to be an extra useful planning resource.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your summer 2016 Walt Disney World Resort holiday please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
