We will be visiting WDW in June 2012 with our 3-1/2 year old daughter. We hope to visit the parks for 2 days at the front end of our week and then the last two days. Can you recomnmend types of tickets and attractions that would be most appropriate?

    Hi Jennifer!

Congratulations on your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm sure your family will absolutely fall in love with the Magic!

Considering your little princess' age, most of us would advise you to purchase Magic Your Way Base Tickets. This type of ticket allows you to visit only one Disney theme park each day. There really isn't any need to Park Hop on your first visit. Many people find that park hopping (i.e., commuting between parks) can take away a lot of time and therefore have less time to enjoy the attractions. I would recommend you spend at least two days visiting the Magic Kingdom theme park where she can ride most of the fabulous attractions there.

If you plan on spending only four days visiting the four main Disney theme parks, tour Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) and explore Disney's Animal Kingdom (DAK) the remaining two days. I would suggest going to DHS and DAK first. Once your daughter walks down Main Street U.S.A. and catches a glimpse of Cinderella's Castle in Magic Kingdom, it will be hard to convince her not to go back there the remaining days. While I personally love Epcot, I believe there are more attractions and entertainment options for the younger crowd at the other three Disney theme parks.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. It would be my pleasure to help you plan your family's Disney Vacation. Be sure to book any Advanced Dining reservations now by calling (407) WDW-DINE or book online. Bret can give you some excellent recommendations on Guidebooks that will help you plan daily touring plans. I'm sending you tons of Pixie Dust for a most magical Disney vacation experience!
