We will be at visiting WDW in June 2013. Can you tell me is the any neat and interesting snacks that shouldn't be missed at Animal Kingdom? Thanks

    Hi Elizabeth,

Are you getting excited? Your trip will be here before you know it! I can think of a few items at Disney's Animal Kingdom you might want to try ... the fresh fruit salad prepared in a pineapple at Tamu Tamu Refreshments is an excellent choice on a hot day. I can also recommend the Jungle Juice at the little Harambe Popcorn kiosk, and some guests have even thought to add soft serve to the juice for a pseudo-Dole Whip concoction. The Jalapeno Cheese Stuffed Pretzel is rather unique to the Disney Parks, as I believe you can only find them at Fife and Drum Tavern in Epcot or at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Although neither neat or interesting, I must tell you the onion rings at Flame Tree Barbecue are really good! Certainly not the healthiest of menu items, but in my opinion, vacation calories don't count. Go ahead and indulge, Elizabeth, and thank you for your great question. I hope I gave you a few ideas to savor as you plan your magical vacation!
