Dumbo the Flying Elephant. So, Diana, let’s jump right into your question! If you’re staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, or select hotels like the
Swan,
Dolphin,
Swan Reserve, or
Shades of Green, you can purchase Lightning Lanes 7 days in advance of your stay. Since your resort is not one of the select resorts, no worries at all. You can still purchase Lightning Lanes
3 days in advance. If you have a date-based ticket, that means you’ll be able to book starting 3 days before your first park day, and you can plan for the full length of your ticket all at once.
Lightning Lanes are such a great way to save time and make the most of your park day. My family loves using them for popular attractions like
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Just remember, there are three types of Lightning lanes. There are
Single Pass Lightning Lanes for select top attractions,
Multi Pass, which lets you book multiple experiences and keep the fun going all day long, and then
Premier Lightning Lane, which allows you to ride all attractions once without a return time.
