Hi Mendy:
I'm a parent of two boys, ages 5 and 3, and I would love to share some of my family's must-dos for our Disney World vacations.
Among many other things: at the Magic Kingdom, we always ride The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, and it's a small world. At Epcot, we take in Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Soarin', and tour the countries of World Showcase. Highlights of World Showcase are the
Kidcot Fun Stops, which are craft stations where your children can draw and color while learning about different cultures as they interact with Cast Members from around the world. Our must-dos at Hollywood Studios include Toy Story Mania and Muppet Vision 3-D. At Animal Kingdom, our family always rides the Kilimanjaro Safari and hops aboard the Wildlife Express Train and visits Rafiki's Planet Watch area, Affection Section, and Conservation Station. Check out the
Magical Beginnings guide for more tips and locations of rides and attractions suitable for kids five and under at all four Disney World theme parks.
For dining, your children may be interested in a character meal at Chef Mickeys, Cape May Café, or 'Ohana. Other great family-fun favorites include: Biergarten (all-you-can consume German-style buffet with polka music and a dance floor); 50's Prime Time Café (American comfort food and fun service in a period setting); Whispering Canyon Café (Old West themed family-style restaurant); Raglan Road (modern twist on traditional Irish pub food); T-REX Café (dinosaur-themed family restaurant with a large menu); and Coral Reef (fun experience for kids (and adults) where you can dine in front of stunning underwater views).
Enjoy your vacation.
