We are visiting WDW in June. So far I have only paid the required deposit. If prices on the resort or passes go up are we locked in or have to pay the higher prices?

Hi Kimberly! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have great news for you! Once you have made your vacation reservation and have paid the deposit, the price that you were quoted is locked in! Even if prices go up, you will only have to pay what you were quoted for the vacation, as long as you pay your balance by the time it is due! Another thing I love is that if you find that prices go down, you can call and see if they will adjust your vacation to offer the lower price!

As first time visitors I would love to give you a few tips to help you have a magical vacation! If you plan on sitting down to dine at a restaurant or experiencing a character dining experience, I strongly recommend making advanced dining reservations. These can be made up to 180 days before your vacation. Some of our favorite restaurants are Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine experience at Hollywood and Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I have some picky eaters on my hands and my children always find something that they enjoy eating at these restaurants.

I also recommend that you take advantage of the FastPass+ system which allows you to reserve attractions in advance! If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can choose your FastPass+ experiences up to 60 days before you arrive, for the length of your visit.

Lastly while you are vacationing, try to remember to take Crush’s advice from Finding Nemo: The Musical and “Go With The Flow.” There are so many attractions and entertainment experiences that it sometimes can feel overwhelming. Just remember to relax and take in all of the magic that surrounds you!  The memories that you will make are sure to last a lifetime!
