We are visiting WDW this June. My daughter has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. If she is in a flair-up, she has difficulty walking. Also she is taking two immune suppressing drugs. Is there a way to wait in lines while sitting away from the crowds?

Hi, Robin!  Walt Disney World has an awesome tool designed just for situations like this.  You can stop in at guest services when you get to a theme park and ask for a Guest Assistance Card.  Let the cast member know when you are there what your daughter's special needs might be, and they can address the issues on the card.  In many cases, they can give you a place to wait away from the crowds, provide you an alternate entrance that won't be as crowded, or allow you to wait inside an attraction before they open it to the regular line.

Don't be afraid to let them know how you think the cast members might best be able to accommodate your daughter.  If there's something they can do, they will really try to do it to make your experience as magical and memorable (in a good way!) as possible!

    Have a great time!
