Hey hey, Angela!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney to bring us your question! It’s our pleasure to help you get the most magic out of your enchanting visit to the most magical place on earth!
Angela, January is such a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Cooler weather, lighter crowds, and the
EPCOT Festival of the Arts in full swing. After a quick scroll through some of the online crowd calendars (not Disney-official, but usually pretty solid in their guesstimates), here’s how I’d plan out your park days to dodge the weekend rush and keep the magic flowing:
Friday, January 17 – Start off easy with
Disney Springs. Grab dinner, do some shopping, and soak up the vibes. No ticket stress, just a chill kickoff immersed in Disney vibes!
Saturday, January 18 – Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Great Saturday pick with earlier hours and more breathing room. Rope drop Flight of Passage and ease into the adventure. Not a morning person? Lock in some
Lightning Lanes for an even more relaxed and stress-free day!
Sunday, January 19 – EPCOT. Even during the festival, Sundays here feel spacious. Art, food, and performances all day long… yes, please! Do not miss the
Disney on Broadway Concert Series. I look forward to this every year, and it never disappoints!
Monday, January 20 –
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now that the weekend buzz is through, it’s a great time to hit the thrill rides. Plan your Lightning Lanes in advance to make the most of your day and wrap it up with Fantasmic!
Tuesday, January 21 – Resort day or do-whatever day. Sleep in, pool time, maybe brunch and a monorail ride. Total reset. You can thank me later!
Wednesday, January 22 – Magic Kingdom. Save the icon for last. Hit your favorites, snack your way through the lands, and don’t miss
Happily Ever After for the perfect finale. *cue the happy tears*
If you need help with dining picks, Lightning Lane tips, or must-dos in each park, I’m all ears. Wishing you a pixie-dusted adventure from beginning to end!
See ya real soon,
Emille
