We are visiting WDW with our 2 yo in January. We are only staying 3 nights with 2 days in the MK. We thought of staying at the CR (main bldg) for proximity, ease, etc. Do you rec. another resort that is less expensive; however, easy to travel to/from?

    Hi Christina,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  This is a great question, and I can tell you when traveling with a toddler, ease and convenience are well worth every penny.  I have always believed that the Wilderness Lodge is the best "value" in deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World.  You will find that the rates will be lower than the monorail resorts, yet it is still convenient to the Magic Kingdom.  It is a quick boat ride, and I prefer a boat over a bus any day because you will not have remove the cargo from your stroller and fold it to access the boat.  This is perfect when you have a tired toddler at the end of the day!

This resort is breathtaking and the warm atmosphere of the Wilderness Lodge is perfect for those cooler January days.

    Have a great trip!
