We will be visiting WDW in January 2009 and staying for 7 days, if I want to see all 4 theme parks do I purchase the 4 day or 7 day pass? Also does that give us the option to pick which theme park we see?

Hi Sara.   Here are some factors in making your ticket decision.   First, an important consideration is exactly how many days you plan to actually spend in the parks.   If you are going to schedule an "off" day, do something outside Disney, or don't plan to visit on a travel day, clearly you should not purchase more days than you need.

Based upon my experience, to fully enjoy all four theme parks you should plan on visiting Epcot and Magic Kingdom a second time.  These are larger parks and often take longer to do everything.   Therefore, this will require at least a 6 day pass without the Park Hopper option or potentially a shorter number of days pass with the Park Hopper.   My suggestion is that if you plan to spend most of your 7 days visiting a park, go with a 6 or 7 day pass.   If the idea of visiting two different parks in the same day is interesting and you can fit it into your budget, you can purchase the Park Hopper option.   However, if you need to save some money or plan to do other things in the evening, you could skip the Park Hopper as you will be staying long enough to probably enjoy the parks without it.

As to your final question, no matter which option you choose (park hopper or not), you are free to visit whichever park you want that day.  Hope this helps and enjoy your trip!
