Hi, we'll be visiting WDW in january 2020. I had a question concerning galaxy edge...With the virtual queue to get in, I assume that once you leave, you would have to make the virtual queue line again to get back in? Thanks!

    Bonjour Audrey,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. It’s always a pleasure to meet my fellow Guests from the province of Québec!

I can hardly wait to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The pictures of the scenery, attractions, merchandise and food have certainly captured the attention of this Star Wars fan! Once you choose to leave the planet Batuu, however, you’ll need to check to see whether boarding parties are required to return. This is the “virtual queue” that can be accessed via My Disney Experience

But, don’t worry! They’ll only be using that system on extremely busy days, and I’ve understood that, even though this new land is extremely popular, they’ve only had to use it intermittently (even on opening day). Plus, if you have a dining reservation for Oga’s Cantina or a reservation for Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers, you should be able to enter the land up to one hour prior to your reservation.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit to a Galaxy Far Far Away this January. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également me poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
