Hi Richard! Your daughter is sure to have a magical 5th birthday at Walt Disney World! Be sure to request a birthday button from Guest Services or your resort's front desk -- she can wear it for your whole vacation for lots of extra birthday attention. Make sure you note on your resort reservation and on all your dining reservations that you're celebrating your daughter's 5th birthday on this trip -- she might be surprised at a meal with a birthday cupcake or receive a celebratory phone call in the room from a character.
Dining with the princesses at Akershus and a delivery from the Disney Florist will certainly make the day special for her! A trip to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a birthday makeover would add to the fun! Little girls love the pampering of having their nails done and their hair styled like a princess!
You could also consider ending the day at the
Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. What kid wouldn't love eating a buffet of only cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats for dinner while watching the Wishes fireworks over Cinderella's castle? The Dessert Party offers a great view of Tinker Bell's flight too!
Another fun event is the
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. This cruise around the Seven Seas lagoon is hosted by a hilarious pirate who acknowledges those celebrating special occasions and keeps everyone aboard laughing. This experience is fun for the entire family and the view of the fireworks from the water is beautiful!
