We are visiting WDW in January... with the announcement of the After Hour Events for early 2024 I am wondering if the parks will close early like they do for Halloween or Christmas events?

Hi there Jennifer, welcome to planDisney!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation in January! The fun will be endless, and the memories will be abundant, so get ready.

The Disney After Hours events are some of my family’s favorite events, and when you add in the shorter wait times and snacks, it makes it even better. The Disney After Hours events take place after the theme parks close to regular guests. At Magic Kingdom Park, the Disney After Hours event takes place from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, but with your Disney After Hours ticket, you can enter the theme park as early as 7:00 PM. When it comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Disney After Hours event takes place from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM, and just like Magic Kingdom, you can enter as early as 7:00 PM. That means more time to experience popular attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise, the Haunted Mansion, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and more.

    Have a magical experience!
