Hi Jessica,
Don't you sometimes wish the beautiful holiday decorations could stay all year long? I've visiting the first week in January, too, and, like you, I'm hoping to get a final view of the finery.
While the decorations appear almost overnight throughout the Walt Disney World resort in early to mid-November, it usually takes a little longer for them to disappear. Though most of the special activities, such as
Holidays Around the World at Epcot and the
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! projection and fireworks show at Hollywood Studios, conclude by the end of the calendar year, I expect that we will be able to see at least some of the decorations. For example, the gingerbread creations at the resorts usually come down sometime during the first week in January.
The good news is that the
Holidays at Disney Springs activities are scheduled to continue through January 8. That includes the
Starbright Holidays Show featuring 300 drones! I can't wait to see it, and hope you can work that into your schedule as well.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica. Wishing you a magical January vacation!
Wilma
