we are visiting wdw in Jan 2013, 4 adults for 7 days, we plan 5 days in wdw, 1 day universal, and 1 day sea world. can we get a dining plan for less days than we are staying at resort? so we dont have to pay for dining for days we aren't in disney?

    Hi, Devon!

Welcome to Walt Disney World!  When you add on the Disney Dining Plan, your credits will be based on how many nights you are staying.  Your credits can be used whenever you like, so you do not have to worry if you are not around much on a specific day.  You can use 2 credits for Signature Dining experience one night perhaps at Yachtsman Steakhouse, or grab a nice buffet breakfast at Cape May Cafe on your checkout day.  The Dining Plan offers the flexibility to use your credits however you like from the time you check-in until midnight of the day you check-out.    I hope this helps!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
