I will be visiting WDW with my four teenagers the end of February. It is the last vacation our family will take together before the oldest two graduate from high school. Is there anything in particular that you would recommend as a "must do"?

Hello Jen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
What a special time to celebrate with your family! I too will be celebrating a graduation this year at the Walt Disney World Resort. First, make sure and stop by Guest Relations and pick up "I'm Celebrating" buttons for your graduates. This will help Cast Members and other Guests recognize this accomplishment.

As far as must-dos, this is dependent on your crew. Are they thrill-seekers? If so, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith top my list at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Are you looking to hit the "classic" attractions? The Magic Kingdom Park includes the two attractions that epitomize the Walt Disney World experience for my family: Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.

But, as a fellow mom of a graduate, I recommend identifying an experience that can embrace this special time for you as a family. Shhhhh... don't tell my daughter, but we will be reserving a Specialty Cruise that includes an amazing view of the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks. Another option would be the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party, which provides delicious treats and a great view of Wishes. The magic makers at Walt Disney World have many ways of helping you celebrate while at the Resort. Some of those options can be found here.

I hope these ideas are helpful as you continue to plan your special trip.

I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
