We will be visiting WDW for our first time 09/24/11, staying 6 nights. We have 2 boys, 16 and 14, and 1 girl 11. What are the must sees and must dos for the parks for teens? We have park hopper. Just want to make the most of our time there. Can't wait

    Hi Tonya,

How fun that you and your children will be visiting WDW for your first time in a couple months!  Figuring out the must-sees is a tricky dilemma because each person is so different.  For example, my 14 year old son could ride Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom over and over, but he has no desire to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster or The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you visit the Attractions page, you will see details on all the attractions, including the Age Range, which helps with planning.  Your family can then look at those attractions (especially since some even have videos) to each create a list of "must-sees."

I also really like www.touringplans.com: a website that helps with itinerary planning for specific groups, such as families with teens/tweens. It is well-researched from the folks behind the Ultimate Guide to Walt Disney World guide book.  While it does have a nominal fee, I think it well worth it to make the most of your trip.

PS Just sharing with you that you will be at WDW while Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is happening.  Click on the link for more information if you are curious.
