We are visiting WDW for the first time in September and have allotted 1 day for the water parks. We have a 6 yo who is a very good swimmer. What is the difference between the two parks? Any preferences? She is fan of sharks, pirates, and princesses.

    Hello Sandra,
I'm so delighted to know you're planning on visiting Walt Disney World Resort for the very 1st time this coming September and I can just imagine how excited your darling princess must be feeling about meeting all her favourite Disney princess, pirate and fishy friends!
I would say that a splashtastic day spent at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park would be practically perfect for your family in every way and that your very own young adventurer in particular might love snorkelling (when accompanied by an adult) with real Bonnethead and Leopard sharks in the amazing Shark Reef.
Plus Guests can also enjoy viewing sharks and other aquatic species at The Seas with Nemo & Friends in Epcot.
I also thought you and your dear daughter might find this Sharks ~ Disney Animals link to be a fun and extra educational planning resource.
Did you know that willing young scallywags just like your lovely daughter can be transformed into salty sea dogs, pirate empresses or even mermaids by joining The Pirates League?  What a fun way to combine all your families Disney's magic into one enchanted experience!
    Have a great Disney day.
    ~ Jane
