    We are visiting WDW for the first time in May, we have two girls (5 and 8). I am trying to find festive places for us to eat. Is the Whispering Canyon Cafe just as rowdy at lunchtime? Can you suggest other festive and/or unique noncharacter dining options?

    Hi Amy,

    The Whispering Canyon Cafe is more tame at lunchtime. If you are looking for the "unique" experience, I would book it for dinnertime.

    Another favorite non-character meal for my family is 'Ohana for dinner. They have limbo lessons, hula dancing and coconut rolling races for the children. It's a lot of fun!

    Teppan Edo in Japan (Epcot) is a fun restaurant. The hibachi chef's cook your meal right in front of you and are very animated and fun while doing so. My kids love it there.
