We will be visiting WDW for the first time May 6th -12th, 2012. Is there any certain days that we should attend or avoid any particular park?

Hi ya, Tamie! There are certain days when some parks are more crowded than others. It often hinges on operating hours, Extra Magic Hours, special events and the presence of yours truly. (<- Kidding about that last part. I'm not special.)

TouringPlans.com maintains the most righteous calendar known to humankind. It's called the Crowd Calendar. It will show you crowd levels, recommended parks and parks to avoid for each day.

Generally speaking, if a park has morning Extra Magic Hours and you can't make it to the park to enjoy them the moment the park opens to guest staying on property, avoid that park because it will have more people in it than a non-morning Extra Magic Hours day would typically have.
