We will be visiting WDW for the first time in June/July 2009. I have made several character dining reservations and now wonder if we go into a park to eat, (say Brkfst at Animal Kingdom) do we have to stay at that park for the day with no hopper option?

    Hi Tracee,

In order to dine at a restaurant inside a Disney park, you must have ticket to the park.  When you eat at Animal Kingdom for breakfast, you will need to use your ticket for admission, and without the park hopper option, that will be the only park you can visit for that day.

This isn't really too much of a problem if you plan your dining reservations around the park that you would like to visit each day.  Also, keep in mind that there are several great character dining options outside of the parks: Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club are both great alternatives.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
