I am visiting WDW for the first time in June. I am staying at the AllStarsMusic and have breakfast reservations in MK at 8:20 on a nonearly opening day. Will the transportation system be running that early? Will I be able to get there on time?

    Beverly,
You'll be absolutely fine getting to your breakfast at the Magic Kingdom for an 8:20 a.m. Advance Dining Reservation.

In April, I toured the All Star Music Resort and spoke with a manager about the morning character bus schedule. The first bus should arrive at approximately 7:15 a.m. Afterwards, a bus to the Magic Kingdom will arrive about every 20 minutes (sometimes earlier, sometimes later). It depends on traffic, how quickly people board, etc.

You will board a bus marked "Magic Kingdom".

Also note that if you plan to be on the first bus, you should arrive to the bus stop early. If for some reason the bus is early, it will not wait since they run continuously instead of on a time schedule. Buses begin at 7:15 a.m. for those that have 8:00 a.m. reservations so allow at least 45 minutes to get from your hotel to the restaurant. Remember you will still need to go through security before proceeding to the turnstiles.

You'll want to head to the far left turnstile marked with a green sign in order to gain entry to the Magic Kingdom for your breakfast. Have your confirmation number handy.
