We are visiting WDW for the first time this July with one child (age 6). Due to stay at the Polynesian hotel (booked for convenience of transport links) but are being moved due to building works. Looking for recommendations of which resort to move to?

    Hi there, Maxine!

While the enhancements coming to Disney's Polynesian Resort are very exciting, I can understand your desire to relocate at this time.  SInce you already chose the Polynesian, I would recommend that you check out either Disney's Contemporary Resort or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Both of these resorts are located on the same monorail line as the Polynesian.  This means that your transportation options are quite similar.  At the Grand Floridian, you have the option of taking a boat or monorail to Magic Kingdom Park (both are enjoyable).  At the Contemporary you can take the monorail or WALK (!) to Magic Kingdom.  Both resorts also offer easy transfer to the Epcot monorail for trips to that park.  Buses are available for transport to the other Disney Parks and locations.  Whatever you decide, I am certain you will have a wonderful time.

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
