We are visiting WDW for the first time January 2107 for my daughters 5th birthday. We are staying at two different resorts and was wondering if there is transportation from AOA to AKL? Or is transportation only from resort to park?

Hi Estephanie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You are going to have so much fun during your very first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Although there is no direct transportation from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will be pleased to know that Bell Services will be happy to transport your luggage from one hotel to the other for you.

My family regularly enjoy split-stays at different Disney Resort hotels when we visit. All you need to do is to contact Bell Services on the day that you are checking out of your first Disney Resort hotel, explain that you would like your luggage transferring to your second Disney Resort hotel and they will take care of everything for you.

Once you have contacted Bell Services a Cast Member will come to your room to collect your luggage and will then arrange for it to be transferred. Once you have checked-in at your second Disney Resort hotel (later that day/evening), you can either go to Bell Services to retrieve your luggage to take to your room with you or call Bell Services once you are in your room to request that your luggage is brought to your room.

The whole process really is so simple and means that that all you have to worry about is enjoying your day at one of the Disney Parks, not the hassle of transferring your luggage.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
