We will be visiting WDW for the first time at the end of OCT. we will be staying at PORFQ. We will not be doing the MNSSHP but would like our kids 10&3 to still enjoy Halloween. Any suggestions on what to do that night or someplace they can trick or tr

    Hi Leticia,

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is the absolute best way to celebrate Halloween at Walt Disney World and aside from this Special Event, your options are limited.

In years past, Downtown Disney hosted a party and trick or treating event on Halloween, with shops and restaurants throughout Downtown Disney offering goodies during the evening hours as well as a kids' dance party. However, this free trick or treating event was cancelled prior to Halloween last year as it was getting too crowded for Guest enjoyment.

Although subject to change, in the past, a handful of Resorts, particularly Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, and Saratoga Springs, have presented Halloween activities, crafts and games, particularly on 31 October itself. I would recommend when checking in at  your Resort hotel that you ask if the Resort will be hosting any Halloween themed activities during your stay.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
