We are visiting WDW for the first time in 74 days. When we were talking to one one of the reps on the call line she said to make sure that it is know it is our first time...What is the best way to make that known without looking stupid? thanks

    Hi Amy:

Congratulations on your upcoming first visit to Walt Disney World. Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate just about anything. The good news is that Disney loves a celebration and there is no way you can look silly letting Disney know that it's your first visit.

Since you may be a bit shy, the best way to let Cast Members know that it's your first visit, without actually having to say anything, is to pick up and wear a "1st Visit" button. Stop by City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, to request a "1st Visit" button. Wear the buttons visibly and proudly and you'll likely find that many Cast Members will go out of their way to greet your party with a kind gesture to make the visit more memorable. Display the button as much as you can, such as on rides or in restaurants, to increase the chances of some Disney magic being sent your way.

Make sure when booking your Disney resort room to let the reservationist know that it's your first visit to Disney World. Then remind the front desk of the fact when you check in at the resort. It's possible the front desk may be able to help arrange some Disney magic for your party. Also, when making Advance Dining Reservations at a Disney restaurant, let the reservationist know that it's your first visit, and let the hosts know as you check in at the restaurant that you are celebrating your first visit to Walt Disney World. While there is no guarantee of anything, you might be surprised what may happen.

    Enjoy your vacation.
