We are visiting WDW for the first time Aug 26-Sept 1. I have 9 & 6 year old. Should I plan on renting stroller? We are staying at Wilderness cabins. Will I be able to take stroller back to cabin with me?

Hi, Melinda!   I have a 9 and 6 year old, and we have pretty much "retired" from needing a stroller.   My 9 year old is just fine, and the only park my 6 year old still gets a bit tired at is Epcot.   This is a really big park with a lot of walking.    We sometimes still grab a stroller at Epcot if it is really hot and crowded.

If you rent a stroller, you must leave it in the park.   You are not permitted to take them outside the gates.   If you rent a stroller and return in the same day or switch parks, simply show your receipt and they will issue you a new stroller for the remainder of the day.   If you really think you might need one (hey, you can always use it to toss in your backpack and water bottles!) I suggest bringing a small umbrella stroller from home as they are pricey to rent ($15 per day for single; $31 per day for double.  Prices subject to change.)

    Enjoy your vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
