    We are visiting WDW for the first time in April and staying @ Animal Kingdom. When we leave, we will fly out of Orlando Sanford. What ways of transportation are available to get to that airport? Does WDW have a shuttle serive to Orlando Sanford? Thanks.

    Hi Keith,
    April is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World.  Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite resorts to stay in. The resort is so amazing!  You will love seeing all the animals grazing around the resort.  You will really feel like you are transported to Africa.  The Uzima pool is a wonderful place to just relax, and I would suggest visiting Boma-Flavors of Africa when you get hungry.  

    We have flown into Orlando Sanford many times.  There is no shuttle between Walt Disney World and the airport.  Your options will be to either rent a car or hire a car service to take you there.  I have found visiting the Orlando Sanford Airport website at www.orlandosanfordairport.com to be a helpful resource when you look under Ground Transportation and link to taxi/limo/shuttle companies.  I have used several prearranged and shuttle companies and have never been disappointed.  Plus it is pretty great to see your driver holding up your family's name on a sign for pick up.
