    Hi! We are visiting WDW Febuary 24th- March 2nd... We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Has anyone stayed there? Can you give me some feedback? And how long of a boat ride is it from the Lodge to MK? Thanks!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    I love the Wilderness Lodge.  It is my favorite resort in all of Walt Disney World.  It has incredible theming, a nice pool area, and two great restaurants.  The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a family restaurant with a lot of fun at dinner and Artist Point is a Disney Signature Restaurant that is very romantic.  The boat ride from the Magic Kingdom takes less than 10 minutes and boats run about every 15 to 20 minutes; there are more boats in the early morning and at park closing.

    If you stay there,  you might consider making a reservation at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness.  That is a great show for guests of all ages.  Fort Wilderness can be hard to get to from some of the other resorts, but there is a boat that runs between the Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, and the Contemporary.  Thus it is very easy to get there from the Wilderness Lodge as the show is performed in Pioneer Hall, about a 100 yards from the Fort Wilderness boat launch.
