Hi, we will be visiting wdw February 15-19 with 2 other families. One night we plan to drop our kids off at Lilo's Playhouse and have an adult dinner with friends. Any recommendations on places for a good time? We will not have dining plans.

Hi, Crystal! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Our multi-family visit to Walt Disney World Resort was definitely one of the best vacations any of us ever experienced so I am so excited for your vacation! One big highlight was our connecting rooms, our kids thought it was the coolest thing ever to be able to “walk through the wall”! During our last visit, my husband and I used both Simba’s Cub House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge AND The Sandcastle Club at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to get a little “adult” time. Our girls LOVED baking cookies and having a dance party with Chip and Dale, so it won’t be the last time we use these on-site Guest services! Since your children will be attending Lilo’s Playhouse over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you have a few great options nearby on the Resort Monorail loop! Depending on how formal of an affair you would like, over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you can visit a fine dining location such as Cítricos, Narcoossee’s or Victoria & Albert’s. If you are looking for something nice but not quite as formal, one of my favorite “adultier” locations is California Grill over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you time it for around the Happily Ever After Fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park, you will have a spectacular view! My all-time favorite restaurant is ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but I hesitate to bring it up because my kids love it SO much and I think it would be a great spot to go with your ENTIRE crew! Also at this Disney Resort hotel, you will find Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto- a great place for a pre or post-dinner libation, or stay for dinner and enjoy a variety of unique appetizers!

Have a magical vacation and bon appétit!
