    We will be visiting WDW in Feb 2014 with a 12 year old girl, 10 year old boy and 7 year old boy. This is our first time. We already purchased the deluxe dining plans. How do these plans work with character dining?

    Hi Kerry,

    How exciting, your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you are absolutely going to have an experience of a lifetime!  I am glad to see that you have chose the Deluxe Dining Plan, you and your family will be able to indulge in many of the fabulous dining experiences on Walt Disney World Resort Property.  With the Deluxe Dining Plan, most character dining experiences are one entitlement from your plan.  The exceptions are Cinderella's Royal Table and Mickey's Backyard BBQ; those dining experiences require two entitlements from your Deluxe Dining Plan.  

    Each member of you party will be given 3 meal entitlements and two snack entitlements per night of your reservation.  You can choose to use your dining entitlements how ever you would like, you do not need to use three per day and for me, that is one of the many reasons the Deluxe Dining Plan is so fabulous.  I like to use 2 entitlements and enjoy a signature dining experience or indulge in a lavish dining experience at Cinderella's a Royal Table.  Every time you enjoy a meal, the entitlements will be taken from your total entitlements for your stay.  The process is very easy, and super convenient.  Your remaining entitlements can be found at the bottom of your receipt after each dining experience.  

    I would strongly recommend making advanced Dining Reservations online or by calling (407) 939- 1947.
