We will be visiting WDW in Feb 2018. Are the extra magic hours at the parks the same as they are now?

    Hi Michael,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be in the midst of planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

The park hours, including the extra magic hours, may not be the same for your visit as they are now. Although the park hours for February are not published yet, I did check the hours for the first week of January. I would use those as a general guide since they are closer to the dates of your visit. Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, for example, is scheduled to close on Wednesday, January 3rd at 7:00 p.m. and Disney's Hollywood Studios is set to close at 8:00 p.m. Magic Kingdom theme park has extra magic hours from 9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

In comparison, for Wednesday, July 5th, Disney's Animal Kingdom is scheduled to close at 10:00 p.m. but has extra magic hours from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. On that same day, Disney's Hollywood Studios is scheduled to close at 9:30 p.m. I suggest that you check as we get closer to your trip dates. I would also double-check once you are a few days prior to your vacation.

On a separate happy note, since you are going in February, I encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for 2018 information on the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. The combination of arts and food makes my heart sing!

Michael, I trust that pixie dust will find its way to you as you plan!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
