We will be visiting WDW 10/25-30. Is it feasible to go to AK, have dinner at the Whispering Canyon, and then go to the Chip and Dale Campfire Sing Along? What time would our ADR need to be & what is the best way to get from place to place? Thanks!

Hi Kathy, your plan sounds like a good one!

You would want to make your reservation at Whispering Canyon for around 5:00pm. Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long generally starts at 7pm in the Fall.

Your transportation time-line would need to be as follows: Plan to be heading to the buses at the Animal Kingdom Park by 3:45pm. You'll be getting in line for the bus bound for the "Wilderness Lodge". You should give yourself an hour travel time because buses come approximately every 20 minutes or so, you never know if you just missed one (so will have to wait a while) or if one is coming around the bend (so you'll be ahead of schedule). You'll need to check in for your reservation by 4:45. If you arrive a little early, you can explore the beautiful Wilderness Lodge. After dinner, to get from the Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness, you can either walk the trail, ride the ferry boat or take the inter-resort shuttle. Enjoy the campfire, it'll be the perfect ending to a wonderful day!

Hope this helps and thanks for visiting the Disney Moms Panel!
