Hello... I will be visiting WDW with my family (3 girls ages 7, 4, and almost 2) in November 2014. I would like to stay at POFQ or Riverside. Which would you recommend for a family with small children? Thank you.

    Allison:

Both resorts have boat transportation to Downtown Disney and it may be too chilly in November to go to the pool (which would give Port Orleans Riverside the leg up). But it comes down to sleeping accommodations. If you don't plan on using a pack 'n' play for your little one, I would recommend Port Orleans Riverside and one of its rooms with a pull-down Murphy-bed-style bunk that would allow you to either sleep your 7- or 4-year-old separately. And although Riverside is larger to traverse than the French Quarter, its food court is more extensive. These two attributes put it over the top for my recommendation, but honestly, the theming of both resorts is spot-on and you'd be happy in cold months at either.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
