We will be visiting WDW at the end of May. We will visit the parks either 5/27-30th or 28-31st. We are trying to decide if we would be better off crowd-wise choosing 28-31st since 5/27is a holiday? If we chose 28-31st we will have to leave early (5pm).

Howdy Tracy!  Great question!!  The first time my husband and I visited the Walt Disney World Resort together was Memorial Day weekend 1997.  We have been back the same time of year for the past few years.

Based on my experience, as well as research I have done, despite the fact you will have to leave the parks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, the 31st, I think you would still be better off to wait until Tuesday to arrive.  Crowd levels are projected to still be high on Tuesday but should drop to more moderate levels on Wednesday.

I'm confident you will have a wonderful time regardless of the days you choose.  Make your list of must do attractions and then enjoy all that you can.

Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you need further information.   Have a magical vacation!!
