I will be visiting WDW during the New Year holiday. I need suggestions for ringing in the new year with a 15, 8 and 4 year old. We will be staying at the Polynesian Resort, not sure if it's best to visit a park or not. Thank you.

    Hello Sonia!

Disney's Polynesian Resort is the perfect place to ring in 2013!  You can grab a spot on the beach for a spectacular view of the special New Year's Fantasy in the Sky fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park. The music is pumped in at the beach, so you get the entire experience. The best part? When the celebration ends, you'll be just steps away from your resort room and the kids will be snug in their beds in no time at all!  Just be sure to grab a spot early as the beach will be a popular viewing spot for the show.

As for during the day, make sure to arrive at your choice of theme park early as they have been known to close to capacity during the New Year holiday.  I do not recommend trying to use the Park Hopper Option on New Year's Eve. Pick a park and enjoy it early, then return to your resort for a little rest and relaxation before celebrating the start of a new year.

I hope this helps, Sonia! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
