We are visiting WDW during the holidays and I am wondering when the gingerbread houses and trees are taken down? My son really wants to see Stitch's gingerbread house but we won't be staying at the Boardwalk until Jan. 2

    Hi Nancy!

Some holiday decorations won't come down until several days after New Year's Day.  Unfortunately, Stitch's Bakery Store Front at Disney's Boardwalk is scheduled to be dismantled on New Year's Eve.  Some of the other holiday displays, however, will still be there on January 2nd, 2012; that includes the displays in the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary, and the Yacht Club.  I definitely recommend making the trip to the Grand Floridian to see their life size gingerbread house.

Sorry I don't have better news, but I still hope you have a magical vacation!  Write back if you have any more questions!
