We will be visiting WDW 12/15 - 12/20 and have the Dining plan. We would prefer to have flexibility for meals and not make reservations for table service dining. Do you think there will be a problem with availability if no reservations are made?

    Hi Freddi!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I would recommend that you make a few advance dining reservations before your vacation.  (These can always be cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand.)

Some restaurants are so popular that they will become fully booked several months' ahead of time, so if there are some particular places you would like to dine at, you may be disappointed if you do not make any reservations.   Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's, and other character dining, and the new Be Our Guest restaurant in New Fantasyland, and some of the Signature restaurants, are particularly popular.

While it is true that cancellations do often occur, I do not know that it would be easy to find your choice of reservation with less than a day's notice.

Reservations can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
