We're visiting WDW in December 09 with our 4 and 6 year old. My husband is worried about losing one of them while at a park. Any suggestions for preventing a lost child?

Hi Rita - that's definitely a legitimate concern, although you shouldn't let it completely hamper your fun.  There are some things you can do to minimize the risk.

    1. Talk to your kids before you leave, and make sure they know to stay by you at all times.  Once they see characters and attractions, the temptation to wander will heighten, so having that talk ahead of time can help.
    2. Use a stroller, or make sure they hold your hand in all crowds.
    3. My kids wear Safety Tattoos (we buy ours at SafetyTats.com) with my cell phone number on their forearm.  They know if they get lost to show a cast member the tattoo.
    4. Bright shirts are also a great idea, that way you have something colorful to look for in a crowd.  We also take a picture of my kids every morning, and if they ever get lost, I can show the cast members what they are wearing.
    Have a wonderful vacation!
