    We will be visiting WDW in December and staying offsite with a car. We want to go around and see the Christmas decorations at the resorts. Will we be allowed in the resort visitor lots, even if we do not have a ADR at that resort?

    Hello Donald!
    Viewing the Holiday decorations in the Resorts of Walt Disney World is one of my most favorite things to do in Walt Disney World! Yes you can park at the Resorts to see the Holiday decorations without an Advanced Dining Reservation at that particular Resort. All you have to do is tell the Cast Member at the security gate at the Resort that you are planning on looking at the Holiday decorations at that Resort and they should let you in. I would recommend that you start out with the Monorail Resorts: the Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa (make sure you see the two story Ginger Bread House in the Lobby). You can park your vehicle at the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot and take the Resort Monorail to the 3 Deluxe Resorts on the Resort Monorail loop which is a fun way to get to these amazing Resorts. Then I would recommend The Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort which is a short boat or bus ride from the Magic Kingdom. Next I would suggest the Epcot Resorts around Crescent Lake: The Yacht and Beach Club Resorts Lobbies, the Boardwalk Resort, and the Dolphin Resort.  If you have time, I would also not miss the Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge because that tree in the lobby is always spectacular!  It is possible to see these Resorts in one day.  Actually, all of the the Resorts have great decorations, but the ones that I have listed have the most spectacular ones and they are themed to the resort that they are located in. I hope that you have a amazing holiday trip to Walt Disney World!
