    Visiting WDW in Dec 2009.Visited the 1st wk of Dec in 2008 and it was kind of busy.But, I haven't been there during any other time of year. Do you think that the 1st or 2nd wk of December is the least crowded? When is parade taping and pop warner wk?

    I was there the first week of December, too! We may have sat beside each other on the monorail and didn't know it!

    The reason it was a busy week this year was because, you guessed it: Pop Warner week and the parade. Although the specific dates haven't been announced for 2009, one of my favorite Disney forecasting calendars, www.touringplans.com, lists the dates of Pop Warner as December 6 - 12, 2009, however, I couldn't confirm this at www.popwarner.com.

    As for the parade, those dates haven't been announced, but going on touringplans, the first week of December may be better in 2009 over the second week! Regardless, it's still Value Season and the crowds are still low to moderate!
