We are visiting WDW on Dec 30 and 31.Do parks normally close due to capacity on the 30th? We had planned on visiting Animal Kingdom, then Epcot and finishing off at Magic Kingdom on the 30th. Are we better to do 2 parks on the 30th and 2 parks on the 31st

    Hi Debbie,

On high-traffic days like the ones between Christmas and New Year's Day, the possibility of parks closing due to high occupancy always exists.  The Magic Kingdom appears to close due to reaching maximum capacity more than the other parks.  I think you're more likely to be able to gain access to the Magic Kingdom on the 30th than the 31st, but if you desperately wish to finish out your day in the Magic Kingdom on either of those days, you should probably start your day there and stay there.  Keep in mind that, with Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, Epcot is another great place to end your Disney day.  There are plenty of amazing places to spend your evening if access to the Magic Kingdom is restricted on either night.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, Debbie, that all the parks will remain open to incoming guests so that you can move between them without restriction.

Best wishes for a magical holiday visit!
