Hello! Will be visiting WDW for 3 days with a 6 year old boy and 3 year old girl. I was planning on doing AK the first day, MK, the second and HS the third. How long does it usually take to visit HS? Will 4 hours be enough? Thanks!

    Hi Sabrina,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a fun park, and there is a lot to do here for little children. I think that you probably could spend more that four hours here; however, I certainly understand planning constraints! Let me tell you what I would do in four hours with small children at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you can arrive at the park early, even 30 minutes before it is scheduled to open, that would be great. That way, you can quickly head to Toy Story Midway Mania right when the park opens to ride it first. This ride is interactive fun for all ages! I also think that you should be sure to see Disney Junior - Live on Stage, especially if your littlest one enjoys shows on Disney Junior. This show includes puppets and live performers and encourages little ones to get up and dance! Also, the children may enjoy seeing the Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage show, as well as playing at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure.

Chances are you can get most of what I suggested above done in four hours. If you are able to stay longer, you could add on enjoying a meal at Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine, where your children can interact with some of their favorite Disney Junior characters at breakfast and lunch. They also might enjoy seeing MuppetVision 3D and the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Overall, I think that it would be possible to hit some highlights in four hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If one theme park needs to be a shortened day, for children of this age, it is possible. I hope that this is helpful in planning your vacation, Sabrina! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
