We are visiting WDW from 12/27 for 5 days, specifically Magic Kingdom & Epcot Center. We have two girls, 11 and 4 and wanted to experience a disney character dinner/breakfast/show. Any suggestions and how soon should we book?

Hi Rani!  If you are talking about a visit this year then I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a character dining experience might be completely booked out already!  The week between Christmas and New Years is the busiest week all year for the parks.  Table service reserved dining will be hard to come by at any restaurant at this time since you are able to start booking it 180 days from your arrival date.  If you are planning a vacation in 2010 then be sure and know the 180 day window so you are sure to get the reservation you need.  You can make dining reservations by calling 407-939-3463.

If you are looking for character dining within one of the two parks then I would recommend Akershus in the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT for a great princess experience.  Since you have two girls this might be a special treat for them both.  Another character dining spot is the Garden Grill located in the Land Pavilion in EPCOT.  This is a rotating restaurant where Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale often come to mingle during your dinner.

You have two locations to choose from in the Magic Kingdom. The first is Cinderella's Royal Table and this will now be called the Fairytale dining experience.  You can choose between breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the castle.  Cinderella will meet you in the lobby for pictures before you head up to dine and mingle with her royal friends and princesses during your meal.  The second location is Crystal Palace which features Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger.
