We are visiting WDW for 12 days in June/July. We are curious as to what to pack for our 14 month-old for each day at the park. Change of clothes, sunscreen, diapers, and wipes are the obvious... What else would you consider taking along?

    Hi Scott,

Sounds like you have a fairly good handle on what to bring with you into the parks each day.  A couple of other items I might suggest:

    • A large ziploc type bag - this can fold up easily but comes in handy for storing wet clothing.
    • Snacks - handing your little one some Cheerios at the right moment can really help make those lines tolerable.
    • Disposable sippy cup can come in handy as do disposable bibs for that age.
    • Small spray bottle or one of those mini fans - it's going to be hot, and anything you have to keep your little one comfortable will come in handy.
    • Something to distinguish your stroller.  Whether you rent or bring your own, inevitably their will be several strollers that look JUST LIKE yours.  Also, cast members may move your stroller while you are in an attraction to make room for other guests.  Tying a ribbon or bandana around the handle will help you locate it quickly.
    • A couple of small toys to keep them occupied in lines or while waiting for meals.

If the forecast calls for showers, you obviously need rain ponchos - but don't forget about your stroller.  If you don't already have a rain cover for your stroller, an inexpensive poncho will help keep it dry.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
