Hi Tracie!
Welcome back to planDisney! What an incredible trip you have coming up!
What I’ve noticed lately is that parade times are often added to the
Hours & Events Calendar later on, so I recommend checking back closer to your trip for showtimes. With that being said, there are a couple of things to think about while planning your park days.
First up, party nights (like you mentioned!). Whenever Magic Kingdom hosts
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the park will close to regular park guests at 6:00 PM, and
Happily Ever After fireworks and the
Disney Starlight parade will not be shown. Instead, there will be party-exclusive entertainment on those nights.
On non-party nights, from my experience, crowds tend to be higher than normal since lots of people are hoping to see the nighttime parade and fireworks. So, plan those nights accordingly! I recommend staking out your spot for both of those a bit earlier than normal during party season because of that.
Now, as far as the daytime parade goes, early to mid-November is a unique time of year! Usually around that time, the Festival of Fantasy Parade takes a day or two off in order to film for Disney’s Christmas Day Parade television special. While there haven’t been any details announced about this year’s filming, it just might fall during the same time as your trip. If that’s the case, you could have the opportunity to see
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during the day instead of the
Festival of Fantasy Parade.
Again, I’d keep an eye on the Hours & Events Calendar as your trip gets closer for more details.
I hope that helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us.
