visiting WDW 11/30-12/5.6 day MYW tickets . MVMCP on 11/30. Would like to visit 2 parks on 12/3. Do I need park hopper to do this.

    Joseph:

In order to visit two theme parks in one day, you are correct that you will need to add the Park Hopper option to your 6-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket.  You can't simply use an extra day on your ticket, unfortunately. Those ticket machines are very smart and know if you've already used your ticket that day!

The Park Hopper option is $54 plus tax, but when you add it, you'll be able to visit as many parks as you want on any day of your visit, not just 12/3.  Fans of the Park Hopper option tout it for their ability to visit a park with Early Magic Hours and then hop to another park by lunch when the first one begins to get crowded. It is also a plus for families who like to eat inside the parks--you don't have to camp out all day at the park you'll be dining in.

Our family of six usually doesn't opt for the Park Hopper, however, we got it for our trip last November, and I must say it was a treat! We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn near Epcot and ate many of our meals at the fabulous restaurants in the World Showcase. We didn't have to worry what park we'd visited earlier in the day!  I don't suggest it for a short stay, but for a longer visit like yours, it can certainly add spontaneity to your vacation!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
