I will be visiting WDW with my boys (6 and 3) in April. Just wondering what you recommend bringing with you to the parks each day? I'd lilke to pack light but have the essentials with me. Thanks!

    Hi, Emily!

Here's what I include in our day pack to the parks:

    • Tickets and/or Keys to the World (easily accessible)
    • Adult IDs, cash and credit card(s)
    • Hand sanitizer
    • Small packs of baby wipes and tissues
    • Small digital camera (in a zip-locked plastic bag)
    • Cellphone(s) (in a zip-locked plastic bag)
    • Small tube of sunscreen (ask for samples from your pediatrician)
    • Folding brush/comb (for all those character photos)
    • 2-3 plastic rain ponchos ($1 store ones are fine)
    • 2 small bottles of water (refill at water fountains or restaurants)
    • A dry wash cloth or small hand towel (drying off after wet rides, cleaning a table surface or wiping down a stroller)
    • First-aid type items (ibuprofen, band-aids, etc.)
You may also consider packing an extra pair of shorts/pants for your 3-year-old depending on how far along he is in potty training.  Hats and sun glasses may be helpful if it's a sunny day, but for my kids, they'd rather squint than keep up with them.  Lastly, you'll want to pack any medication and snacks that may be essential for your family to make it through the day.  Hope this helps! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
